This 40–hour course is a unique opportunity to in-depth study of some of the most important, traditional yogic texts. There is also a portion of self-study homework after the training for approximately 12 hours.
Ratheesh Mani, one of yogayama's most senior teachers, will guide you through these scriptures, some as old as 5000 years. You will gain a better and more profound understanding of what yoga really is. Among the texts that will be read, reviewed and discussed are the Vedas, the Upanishads and the Mahabaratha (including the Bhagavad Gita – one of the most important literary works of humankind). The course also includes several lectures on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali as well as an introduction to the language of Sanskrit, the language in which these texts were written and also discover more subtle meanings to the scriptures.
This course is suitable both for yoga teachers and dedicated practioners alike.
