I’ve been introduced to the ayurvedic massage in Italy in 1993, where I studied the basic techniques of the ayurvedic massage and of some ayurvedic treatments. My teacher has been S.V. Govindan, direct disciple of the Mahatma Gandhi and of Sri Keppalan, with whom he has studied the massage following the kerala tradition. He spent his late life teaching the ayurvedic massage all around the world. Govindan has been able to make us feel love for mankind, and the humility in doing massage, which he has always put both in his teaching and in his endless research on the Auyrveda. After meeting him, I continued studies on both classic ayurvedic massage and the spiritual - energetic massage, which S.V. Govindan has been promoting since 1995, in India and all over the world. Between 1995- 1998, I attended a master in heilpraktiker, with acknowledgements in several subjects – anathomy and physiology, hydrotherapy, nutrition, foot zone teraphy.
