I have been practicing yoga since 2001, starting with Baron Baptiste in Cambridge (USA) and exploring Bikram, Ashtanga, and Iyengar yoga before falling in love with the flow of vinyasa. My classes reflect a blend of influences from my teachers--David Vendetti, Ana Forrest, Jill Miller, and Alan Finger--by integrating creative sequences with deep tissue work, core awareness, breath, and meditation. Through our practice together, my intention is to create space for the grace that is already here--in our bodies, our minds, and our hearts. See you in class!

The sound of breath
the smell of skin
the rivulets of sweat
yoking mats together in a current of grace.

Yoga is the fiery furnace of the present moment,
burning fierce and true
where memories of the past and hopes for the future
turn to smoke even as I hold on, refusing to let go.
It holds me in its radiant embrace
until the armor of my heart melts open
and life breathes me once more
vulnerable and not knowing.
I remember the web of life with a prayer
Yes thank you more please.

Some days I get the impression
I am a dream dreamt by spirit
and yoga, yoga is my way back home.
